350 degrees for 10 minutes
2 1/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons ginger
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1/4 cup molasses (mild flavor)
Mix together and form dough into balls. Roll in white sugar before baking. Doubles well.
